What to expect

At Little White House we feel toddlers learn best through direct, hands-on experiences with people, objects, events, and ideas. We encourage exploration of the world around them and believe that children learn through play and need a caring and encouraging environment to thrive.

Gross motor skills, language development and social development are areas of focus. We provide a safe environment, offer developmental challenges and focus on individual development. We offer written communication via informative daily sheets and encourage dialogue between our staff and parents.

Toddlers are grouped age appropriately while taking into account developmental milestones.
Each age group has a theme of the month where we introduce colors, shapes, letter, songs, and books. Everything that is introduced is reinforced with music, art, and dramatic play, allowing for the incorporation of socialization while learning.

Our caregivers provide loving and nurturing relationships. These bonds teach children how to treat others and we feel it is the foundation for positive relationships.
